INDIGENOUS RECONCILIATION FUND
Canada’s Bishops have established a special Fund to fulfill the $30 million financial commitment they made.  Working with Indigenous partners the funds will contribute to the following priorities:
  • healing and reconciliation for communities and families
  • culture and language revitalization
  • education and community building
  • dialogues for promoting indigenous spirituality and culture
The Diocese of Hamilton is committed to supporting this effort.  This weekend envelopes for the Fund are available in the church.  Please return these in the regular collection on the weekend of May 14/15.  Cheques made out to “St. Catherine of Siena Parish.”  You may also donate directly on our website by clicking HERE noting that the donation is for “reconciliation fund.”
For more information about the details of this Reconciliation Fund, you may go to the Canadian Catholic Bishops site.
